Tarpon season is here!!!

This is the time of year that makes fisherman go crazy (and for good reason!) Tarpon averaging about 90 pounds are swimming down the coast on their annual spawning run. We've been seeing lots of fish. and they've been very eager to eat! Some days are much slower than others, but on the good days the fishing has been incredible! It's just the beginning of the season. So, I expect things to become much more consistent in the next week or so. Now's the time to book a trip and experience what I think is the ultimate fishing experience! I promise once you catch a tapon on fly you'll never be the same!!
Night Fishing!

Right now is possibly the best time of the year to go after a wide variety of species of fish. There are jacks, cobia, and bonito on the beach. The flats are covered with redfish. However, our most productive trips have been at night fishing dock lights. We've caught tons of trout (up to 25 inches!) and redfish too! We've even hooked a couple bull redfish under the lights that were easily over 25 pounds! They broke us off under the dock pilings though! The trout have been gorging themselves on baitfish seem to be fighting twice as hard. Now's the time to book a night trip and beat your personal record for trout!
