Holiday Redfishing is Looking Good Right Now!

The last two months have been dynamite on the flats with lots of tailng redfish in skinny water. As temps drop I expect to see the reds begin to group up a bit more but still tail. Late fall and winter tides are so low that the fish have almost no choice but show themselves with backs and tails out of the water. We've been using the usa; combination of shrimp and spoon flies to feed these fish. Accuracy and stealth are the keys to success on the panhandle! Book your holiday trip and get in on some of the best redfishing of the year!!
Spring Break is here and it's time to hit the flats!

It seems that winter is finally fading away and the warmer temperatures of spring are here. The water temps have risen around 5 degrees in the past five days and this has triggered the redfish to feed a little more than they have during previous weeks. We're seeing a good numner of tails during the early hours of the day. As tempretaures continue to rise, the fishing will keep improving. We are looking forward to some fantastic night fishing for big trout and redfish as well as fishing the beach for jacks and cobia. Tarpon season is only about 6 weeks away! For those of you who are looking to go out in groups greater than 2, Capt. Clint Hood has been wrecking the bull reds in deeper water! Give us a call to book your spring fishing!
